ABOUT US
At Patagonia MTB Trails, mountain biking is more than a sport—it’s a way to connect with the land, the people, and the future of Patagonia.
We’ve been a driving force behind the development of mountain biking in the region, actively shaping the trail networks and riding culture in every place we operate—from Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine. Through years of collaboration with landowners, local riders, and communities, we’ve helped open access to hidden terrain, build sustainable trails, and promote responsible riding in one of the world’s last true frontiers.
But our mission doesn’t end on the trail.
We believe in giving back. That’s why we created one of the region’s first community-oriented bike shops and mountain bike schools, offering education, mentorship, and access to gear for local youth and families. Whether teaching a kid to ride, repairing a neighbor’s bike, or organizing trail maintenance days, we are committed to using MTB as a tool for positive impact.
We don’t just guide rides—we help grow Patagonia’s MTB future.

MEET THE TEAM
We’re not a big crew, but we’re the kind you want to ride with. We laugh a lot, ride hard, fix things fast, and know every shortcut, lookout, and post-ride snack spot in Patagonia.

Juan Pablo
Your favorite trail buddy. Knows every rock, root, and story behind the landscape. Equal parts hype man and safety expert. He might sing while pedaling uphill—and somehow still drop you on the descent.

Javier
Dreamer, trail builder, and the guy who somehow knows everyone in town. He started Patagonia MTB Trails with nothing but a bike, a map, and way too much energy—and he hasn’t slowed down since.

Claudio
Always on the move, with one foot on a pedal and the other chasing the perfect shot. You'll catch him dangling off a rock to get that angle, and somehow still making it back in time for the group photo. Keeps the stoke high and the vibes even higher.

Mati
The bike whisperer. Doesn’t say much, but when your derailleur explodes or your brakes disappear, he's already behind you with a tool in hand and a grin on his face. Probably fixed your bike before you even noticed the problem
